Next October 4th – 7th the European Commission's Regional Policy Directorate-General (DG REGIO), together with Committee of the Regions will host in Brussels the 8th European Week of the regions and cities, the biggest annual event on regional and urban development. Representatives of 245 European regions and cities from 34 countries are expected to participate in this event, which will include, among other activities, a large exhibition area where both local/regional authorities and businesses will showcase projects
