Brussels hosts the VI Steering Committee of the INNOVATE-MED project
The INNOVATE-MED project partners celebrated a new meeting within the framework of the 6th Steering Committee, which took place in Brussels last September 16th.
The event was aimed at discussing the management and reporting of the project implementation activities, as well as the current situation of the expenditure and the deliverables.
In addition to the work meetings, the Committee of the Regions, the political assembly that provides the regional and the local levels with a voice in EU policy development and EU legislation, has held a capitalization conference entitled “Dynamization of the local economies through interregional cooperation in the Mediterranean area”, on 15th September.
During the event, representatives of regions and provinces from Italy, Greece, France and Spain have presented the projects INNOVATEMED and CHORD, which have been developed to find innovative ways to unlock the potential of their heritage and traditions in the Mediterranean basin.
